""Don't believe everything you think!" is probably the best advice I've ever been given" (Timber Hawkeye, Faithfully Religionless)
How much time do you spend in your own head?
One of the things that's really important, if you want to grow, is that you have to listen. You've got one mouth and two ears, and so many people get that ratio wrong. They use the mouth all the time and they don't use the ears. But how are you supposed to take in new ideas, or learn, grow and develop, if you don't listen?
What do most people do? They listen to themselves, and just themselves. Most people end up believing too much of the noise in their own head. And if all you do is listen to what's going on in your head, how much of what you tell yourself is true, and how much of it isn't?
Do you have beliefs that tell you you're not good enough, that you can't do something, that it doesn't happen for people like you? Sometimes you need to listen to other people. Sometimes you need to listen to the bigger picture.
One of my mentors said: get in your head, you're dead. If all you do is overthink things, analyse them, over-analyse them and get into that analysis paralysis, then you're stuck. Stop believing all of your own thoughts and have an open mind.
Today I encourage you to find something to inspire you, something you can learn from, and use those ears. Take in as much as you can.

Spend some time today listening instead of talking, and see what you learn.
