Here is a great little recipe I was introduced to by Kitten the Juice Pirate. Kitten will soon be sharing her top 5 juice recipes here on Natural Juice Junkie and you can be pretty certain that this will be on the list!
Juicy Ingredients
- 1 apple
- 6 kale leaves
- 2 sticks of celery
- 6 strawberries
How to Make It
Simply juice the apple, kale, celery and strawberries and serve over ice, or alternatively, juice the apple, kale, celery and then blend with the strawberries for a slightly thicker texture. Note: if you are using a centrifugal juicer (like the Philips wide neck juicers, Sage juicers or Breville Juice Fountain) then I suggest chopping the apple in half, then put one half of the apple in the chute, packing the kale in tightly and placing the other piece of apple on top. Then juice the celery and strawberries. This will get you the maximum yield from the kale.
