Back in January I wrote about how I had successfully completed my first major non-drinking challenge – going out for a curry without beer! At that point I think the thought of a stag weekend without touching a drop of booze would have completely freaked me out, especially when it including going for a curry, but guess what? Stag weekend without booze – Done!
It was a little strange being in an environment that is largely focused on drinking without touching a drop, but I had a great time regardless. I can also pretty much guarantee I was the only person on the stag do to wake up with a clear head and the end of it.
Year Without Beer
I am spending all 366 days of this leap year alcohol free in an attempt to raise money for charity.
In 2012 I was raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Cancer Research UK.
